Your clock genes adapt to a predictable schedule, so aim to eat your last meal at the same time each night, even on weekends. Keep your window between eight and twelve hours, with shorter windows generally offering stronger benefits for sleep. And remember that alcohol counts as calories. Even a glass of wine late in the evening can reset your liver clock and disrupt melatonin production.
